In 2003, Wallace joined the NFL Draft and was selected in the fourth round by the Seattle Seahawks. Many thought that he would be dropped due to his insistence on playing as a quarterback, but the Seahawks gave him a chance and he would make notable plays especially during the 2005 NFC Championship. The following year, he would play a few games as a starter, but would then start to be used as a wide receiver in 2007. The following year, he played some games as a quarterback, but then played once again as a wide receiver before he sustained an injury. The following year, he signed a one year deal with the New Orleans Saints, however, he was released after four months. He then signed a deal with the San Francisco 49ers but soon requested his release since he was just being used to persuade quarterback Colt McCoy to take a pay cut. The last team he played with was the Green Bay Packers, for just two games before an injury decided him to retire, but the first African-American to start as a quarterback for the Packers.

For his personal life, it is known that Seneca married Abbie Larson Wallace in 2013.
