In 2016, Richard Ashcroft released his fourth album “These People”, again the result of collaborating with Chris Potter and Wil Malone.

Finally, in the personal life of the singer, Richard married the former keyboardist and his manager Kate Radley in 1995. In 2000, their first son Sonny was born, four years later their second, Cassius. In 2005, he publicly admitted suffering from bipolar disorder, and taking medicine like Prozac.
