Edwards landed her first role in a movie in 2008’s romantic drama “Explicit Ills”; written and directed by Mark Weber, it starred Naomie Harris, Paul Demo and Rosario Dawson. She appeared alongside Kelvin Hart in the comedy “35 and Ticking” three years later, then starred exclusively in TV series for several years, before making a comeback in films in 2018 when she was assigned a role in the horror-thriller “Hell Fest”, that received mixed reviews from audiences. She will be appearing in 2021’s “Love You Anyway” film that is written by Anna Matz – it’s in the post-production stage.
