He is a retired professional American Football player, who played in the position of cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for several teams, including the Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, among others. Phillip’s professional career began in 2002, when he participated in the NFL 2002 Draft, and was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the first round, as the 17th overall pick, however, he never lived up to the expectations of the league. He signed a rookie contract for four years with the Raiders, which certainly increased his net worth, but stayed only three seasons in the Oakland, as he was traded to the Houston Texans in 2005. During his time with the Raiders, Phillip recorded 122 tackles and 11 interceptions.
