Nnamdi Asomugha was born on July 6, 1981 in Lafayette, Louisiana, the United States of America. Nnamdi was an American football player, having retired in 2013 after his last season playing for the San Francisco 49ers. Being 1.88m height and 95kg weight, Nnamdi played in the position of cornerback, and was considered to be one of the NFL’s best shutdown corners. For his achievements in sport Nnamdi Asomugha received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2008, Jefferson Award for Public Service in 2009 and National Conference on Citizenship “Role Model of the Year” Award in 2012. He was active in this professional sport from 2003 to 2013.
