Who is Nick Hounslow?
Nick was born in London, England, on 25 February 1980 – his zodiac sign’s Pisces, and he holds British nationality. He’s a model, fitness trainer and actor, with more than 10 acting credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of Jamison in the 2016 romantic crime series “The Catch”, created by Kate Atkinson and Helen Gregory, and which starred Mireille Enos, Peter Krause and Jay Hayden. It follows a private investigator, who’s fallen in love with a man who seems to be committing fraud for a living.
Early life and education
Nick was raised in London alongside his sister Charlie Hounslow, by their father Bob Hounslow, who was the owner of Classic Wedding Cars of Ashby, and their mother whose name remains undisclosed, but who was a housewife; Charlie’s today a successful prosthetic and make-up artist.
Nick grew up being interested in numerous activities, while he was mostly into playing sports during his teenage years; he played both football and basketball for his school’s teams, and also practiced acting with its drama club. He was 16 when he began going to the gym, believing that working out will help him launch his modelling career upon completing his education.
Nick matriculated in 1998 and then didn’t enroll at college, but chose to pursue a career in the modelling industry.
Career as a model
Nick left home upon matriculating, and went on to model all around the world, including in his hometown, Paris, France and Los Angeles, California USA; he was signed to an agency in each of these cities, as well as in Milan, Italy and New York City.
He’s been featured on the cover page of various magazines, such as “Zooey Magazine”, “Men’s Fitness” and “Runner’s World”, while some of the most popular companies for which he’s posed include Cadillac, Fiat and Taco Bell.
As an actor, Nick’s today signed to both HRi Talent and Discover Management in Los Angeles.

Roles in TV series
Nick made his debut TV series appearance in 2010, when cast to play Sketch Actor in an episode of the popular musical comedy talk-show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. The year 2016 saw him play Auditioner #3 in the popular comedy “Con Man”; it starred Alan Tudyk, Mindy Sterling and Nathan Fillion, follows the life of struggling actor Wray Nerely, and the series was nominated for four awards, including two Primetime Emmys.
Nick’s appeared in only one other TV series: he played Jefferson in the 2017 episode “You Could Discover Me” of the mystery crime drama “Good Behavior”, created by Blake Crouch and Chad Hodge, and which starred Michelle Dockery, Juan Diego Botto and Terry Kinney. It follows the life of thief and con artist Letty Raines, and the series was nominated for two awards.
Roles in movies
Nick made his debut film appearance in 2007, when cast to play Guy in the music video “Hilary Duff: Stranger”, and the year 2009 saw him star as Jack – Young Dancing Gentleman in the short historical drama “Moon Lake Casino”, written and directed by Jason Kennedy, and which also starred Tuc Watkins and Hank Stratton. It follows four ghosts of characters which the American playwright Tennessee Williams ‘killed’ before they appeared in plays, and are now haunting Moon Lake Casino.
Nick portrayed Party Attendant in the critically acclaimed 2016 thriller drama “Nocturnal Animals”, written and directed by Tom Ford, and which starred Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Shannon. It follows the life of the owner of an art gallery, whose former husband’s just published a violent thriller novel; the movie won 21 of the 175 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Michael Shannon).

Nick’s since appeared in three movies: the 2018 romantic drama “Christmas with a Prince”, the 2019 sequel “Christmas with a Prince: Becoming Royal” and the 2021 sequel “Christmas with a Prince: The Royal Baby”, in all of which he starred; he’s currently shooting for the upcoming movie “Young Again”.
