Who is Jeremy Maguire?

American child actor Jeremy Maguire was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 10 August 2011, making his zodiac sign Leo. He’s appeared in three movies and four TV series, while he’s probably best known for playing Joe Pritchett in 91 episodes (2015-2020) of the critically acclaimed romantic comedy series “Modern Family”, which Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd created, and which starred Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen. It follows the lives of three related families, the series aired from 2009 to 2020 and won 141 of its 525 award nominations.

Jeremy and his sister Serena Maguire are being raised in Los Angeles, by their parents whose names and professions remain undisclosed, as Jeremy respects their privacy; most of Jeremy’s fans believe that his father’s a businessman, and his mother a theatre actress.

Jeremy’s appeared in only one other movie: he was a supporting character in the 2022 comedy drama “The Virgin of Highland Park”, written and directed by Sonia Sebastián, and which starred Penelope Ann Miller, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Dermot Mulroney; it tells the story of a virgin teenager who’s just learned that she’s pregnant.

In 2018, Jeremy played Frankie Green in the episode “Warriors” of the action science fiction drama “The Last Ship”, which Steven Kane and Hank Steinberg created, and which starred Charles Parnell, Adam Baldwin and Eric Dane. It follows a pandemic which has killed nearly all life on Earth, while the crew of a naval destroyer has managed to survive; the series aired from 2014 to 2018, and won one of its seven award nominations.

Jeremy’s only other TV series role has been his portrayal of Matthew Garland in 12 episodes of the 2021 crime comedy drama “Turner & Hooch”, created by Matt Nix, and which starred Josh Peck, Carra Patterson and Lyndsy Fonseca.
