Who is Miranda Rae Mayo?

Miranda Rae Mayo was born in Fresno, California USA, on 14 August 1990 – her zodiac sign is Leo, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress, who’s appeared in close to 20 movies and TV series, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Stella Kidd in the action series “Chicago Fire”, created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, and which stars Taylor Kinney, Christian Stolte and Eamonn Walker. It follows the lives of paramedics and firefighters who are working in Chicago, Illinois; the series has been airing since 2012, and has won six of the 28 awards for which it’s been nominated.

Miranda made her debut TV series appearance in the 2011 episode “El Sereno” of the mystery crime drama “Law & Order: LA”, and the same year saw her appear in an episode of both the thriller “Inside” and the action adventure comedy “Supah Ninjas”.

In 2012, she was cast to play the supporting character Patreece Sheibani in the romantic comedy drama “The Game”, created by Mara Brock Akil, and which starred Hosea Chanchez, Wendy Raquel Robison and Coby Bell.

The series follows several women, all of whom are in a relationship with Football Players; the series aired from 2006 to 2015, and won five of the 30 awards for which it was nominated.

The following years saw Miranda play supporting characters in a couple of critically acclaimed series, such as the romantic mystery drama “Pretty Little Liars”, the comedy “Stuck!” and the romantic drama “Days of Our Lives”. In 2015, she was cast to star as Lacey Briggs in the romantic crime drama “Blood & Oil”, created by Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne, and which also starred Don Johnson and Chace Crawford. It follows a newlywed couple who are hoping to start working with oil in North Dakota, while the oil baron Hap Briggs isn’t happy with this.

Miranda’s two most recent roles in TV series, besides “Chicago Fire”, have been in the 2018 episode “When to Let Go” of the drama “Chicago Med”, and the 2019 episode “Infection, Part III” of the action crime drama “Chicago P. D.”

Miranda made her debut film appearance in the 2012 short comedy “How Your P*ssy Works”, and in 2014, she starred in the short comedy “The Black Bachelor”.

The year 2015 saw her play Courtney in the popular romantic musical drama “We Are Your Friends”, written and directed by Max Joseph, and which starred Zac Efron, Wes Bentley and Emily Ratajkowski. Miranda is currently shooting for the upcoming crime drama “Going Places”.
