Appealing to fans via her website and a new YouTube channel, the redhead offered her supporters incentives such as digital downloads and thank-you videos in exchange for their donations. In just over a month, Miranda exceeded her $17,500 goal thanks to donations from almost 200 people around the world.
At the time, her humble but promising discography included the singles “Fallen”, “Hiding Place”, and “All I Need Is You”.
