Michael Louis Golic was born on 12 December 1962, in Willowick, Ohio USA, and is a famous ex-American football player, now actor and TV commentator and presenter, perhaps best known now as a co-host of the ESPN Radio show “Mike & Mike.

Mike started his career as a football player at university, in fact captaining team. Subsequently in 1985 Mike was drafted into the NFL as a defensive tackle by the Houston Oilers, for whom he played until 1987, when he was traded to  the Philadelphia Eagles (1987 – 1992), and then to the Miami Dolphins (1993).
