Michael Eugene Misick was born on the 2nd February 1966, in Bottle Creek, North Caicos, Turks and Caicos Island, and is a politician and a member of the Progessive National Party. He is best known to the world as a former Chief Minister of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a position he held from 15th August 2003 until 9th August 2006. Also, he was the first Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, from 9th August 2006 until 23rd March 2009. His career started in the mid- 1980s.
