Michael Edward Knight was born on 7 May 1959, in Princeton, New Jersey USA, and is an actor, best known for his appearance in the soap opera “All My Children” playing the role of Tad Martin. He’s also appeared in numerous films, and all of his endeavors have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

He was cast in his first major acting role in 1982’s “All My Children”, one of the longest airing soap operas from ABC of which Knight was a part from 1982 to 1986; he also returned to the show two years later, joining for another two years, before returning for a second time in 1992, and remaining in the series until its finale in 2011. He was also part of the revival in 2013. His work with the show has helped increase his net worth significantly. He was also a part of “AMC” from 1993 to 1994.

One of Michael’s first major film opportunities was a starring role in “Date with an Angel”, a romantic comedy film directed by Tom McLoughlin. Knight also appeared in several primetime shows such as “Grapevine” and “Dear John”, which is based on a British sitcom of the same name. He also had stage projects including the off-Broadway play “Wrong Turn at Lungfish”, and appeared in the production “Cakewalk” alongside Linda Lavin. He was part of the television movie “She Stood Alone: The Tailhook Scandal”, and one of his latest projects is “The Young and the Restless” in which he has the recurring role of Dr. Simon Neville, and is another long- running soap opera, this time on CBS since the 1970s. For his personal life, it is known that Knight was married to Catherine Hickland, who is best known for her work in “One Life to Live”, from 1992 to 2006.
