Mark is the son of highly educated parents; his mother, Donna was an architect, while his father worked as public relations adviser to successful politicians and CEOs. Raised Jewish alongside his two sisters in Lincoln Park, a community area in North Side, Chicago, his parents divorced and both remarried; as a result he has three step-sisters and a step- brother. He went to the Francis W.
