Born in Marseille, France, Zidane is the son of Veronique Zidane and Zinedine Zidane, a former star international football player. His mother is of Spanish ancestry while his father is of French and part-Algerian descent, and he also has three siblings: Enzo, Elyaz, and Theo. The four siblings studied at the French Lyceum of Madrid, and all of them are into playing football.
Zidane started playing football in 2004, joining the lower categories of Real Madrid Club de Futbol. He joined the prebenjamin age bracket and continued training himself and improving his skills.
