Bell, so the whole family struggled financially. After entering Groveport Madison High School, Le’Veon started playing football, but also basketball, and ran track. Thanks to his success in high school, he received several scholarship offers to play football, eventually committing to Michigan State University, though he wasn’t even scouted in particular by the college. He played for the Michigan State Spartans from 2010 until 2012, and finished his college career with 33 rushing touchdowns, from 3,346 rushing yards. He won several awards, including becoming the Big Ten champion in 2010, and was named into First-team All-American in 2012, among other honors.
