Kyle grew up developing a passion for basketball during high school; he attended Swartz Creek Community School, and later transferred to Bently High School, posting great numbers at both. He received offers to play at Division I schools during his senior year, and eventually settled on attending the University of Utah.

Due to signing late with Utah, Kuzma redshirted his freshman year. He became a starter during his second year and performed well, and continued to improve in the following year, earning All Pac-12 honors. He graduated with a degree in sociology, and opted to enter the 2017 NBA draft, foregoing his final year of eligibility to remain playing in college. He was selected in the first rounds by the Brooklyn Nets, but was immediately traded to the Los Angeles Lakers alongside Brook Lopez, in exchange for Timofey Mozgov and D’Angelo Russell. He signed a rookie scale contract with the Lakers, and his net worth started to increase.

Kyle played during the 2017 NBA Summer League and led his team in points scored, finding consistency during the event. He was named to the All-Summer League Second Team that year, plus during the Championship Game he was also given the MVP award after scoring 30 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He got his first double-double during his first game as a starter in the NBA season, getting 21 points and 13 rebounds. He continued to post consistent double-doubles, giving him two Western Conference Rookie of the Month awards. He became the first ever rookie to compile 330 points, 120 rebounds, and 30 3-pointers during his first 20 games. He scored a career high 38 points against the Houston Rockets’ which ended their 14-game winning streak, and a team high 27 points against the Golden State Warriors, making him the first rookie since Jerry West to have scored 25 or more points in three straight games.

For his personal life, nothing is known of any Kuzma romantic relationship, not even any rumours, yet! He’s very active on social media having over 250,000 followers on Twitter and over 1.2 million on Instagram. His social media pages are mostly updated with his daily endeavors and matters concerning his basketball career.
