Who is JR Bourne?
David Bourne, known better as JR Bourne, was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 8 April 1970 – his zodiac sign is Aries, and he holds Canadian nationality. He’s an actor with over 100 credits to his name, perhaps still known best for his portrayal of Ray in the 2005 horror thriller movie “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”, written and directed by Scott Derrickson, and which starred Laura Linney, Tom Wilkinson and Shohreh Aghdashloo. It follows a lawyer who’s working on a case which involves a priest who had performed an exorcism, killing the girl Emily Rose; the movie won four of the 13 awards for which it was nominated.
Early life, siblings and education

He became interested in acting when he was around five years old, mostly because he and his sister watched TV together nearly every night. JR was a member of his elementary school’s drama club, and appeared in various plays performed at the school; he was also quite sporting, and played both soccer and tennis.
JR attended a local high school in Toronto, at which he continued appearing in plays, and he was 16 when his drama teacher recommended him to his friend who was a theatre actor, and who then cast JR in his first theatre play.

He gained recognition in 2001, when cast to play Building 21 Guard in the popular action crime drama “Antitrust”, directed by Peter Howitt, and which starred Ryan Phillippe, Tim Robbins and Rachael Leigh Cook. The movie follows a computer programmer who has just begun working at a company in Portland, and has discovered that his boss is hiding a horrible secret; it won two of the six awards for which it was nominated.
The following years saw JR appear in a couple of popular movies, such as the 2001 fantasy horror “Thirt13en Ghosts”, the 2004 horror drama “Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning”, and the 2005 horror science fiction thriller “Severed”.
In 2006, he portrayed Malcolm Williams in the evergreen science fiction thriller “The Butterfly Effect 2”, directed by John R. Leonetti, and which starred Eric Lively, Erica Durance and Dustin Milligan. The film follows Nick Larson who has figured out how to change his life by traveling back in time. JR had appeared in a couple of other popular movies by the end of the 2010s, such as the 2006 crime comedy “Everything’s Gone Green”, the 2008 drama “Run Rabbit Run”, and in the same year the adventure fantasy horror “The Lost Treasure of the Grand Canyon”.
