James D. “Jim” Cantore is a professional meteorologist born on 16th of February 1964, in Beacon Falls, Connecticut USA of Italian descent. He is best known for working for The Weather Channel as a media personality.

The couple married in 1990 in Vermont and have a daughter and a son. However, it wasn’t until the birth of their children that Jim found out that his wife suffers from Parkinson’s disease and both their children have Fragile X syndrome. This led Cantore to dedicate himself to charity work concerned with both diseases. However, Jim divorced Tamra in 2009, and has been dating Andrea Butera since 2010. Apart from this he is devoted to Make-a-Wish Foundation events, and served as a celebrity cabinet member with the American Red Cross.
