Jeremy Lamar Mincey was born on 14 December 1983, in Statesboro, Georgia USA, and is a retired professional American Football player, best known to have played in the National Football League (NFL) as a defensive end for teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos. After matriculating in 2002, he then attended Butler County Community College passing on a scholarship offer from Jacksonville State University. He played well in Butler, and then took a scholarship to the University of Florida after a year. He played for the Florida Gators for two years and was the team captain during his senior year. He graduated from the University with a degree in Health and Human Performance in 2007.

Jeremy joined the 2006 NFL Draft, and was selected in the sixth round by the New England Patriots. He played as a linebacker but was soon released and signed with the San Francisco 49ers and played with their practice squad, before later in the year signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he was used as a defensive end. He was waived in 2007 after an injury but later returned to the team’s practice squad, and was put onto the active roster later in the year, playing six regular season games. In 2008, he saw little play due to a wrist injury, and was then released, but subsequently re-signed to the team and played with them until 2011, signing a new contract with the Jaguars which increased his net worth in 2012, however, he was released the following year.

Mincey was then signed by the Denver Broncos and was used as a reserve player, but was with the Broncos at Super Bowl XLVIII in 2013. The following year, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys and became the team captain, leading the team in sacks and quarterback pressures. In 2015, his performance dropped after he suffered from bone spurs in his elbow which required surgery. He then decided to retire in 2016.

Jeremy subsequently pursued a career as a recording artist, and opened his own studio called “Mr. Mince Recording Studios”; he is managed by OG Ron C. Other opportunities have helped in increasing Jeremy’s net worth.
