Justin James Watt was born on the 22nd March 1989, in Waukesha, Wisconsin USA, and is a professional American Football player who, as J.J. Watt, is best known for being the defensive end of the National Football League’s (NFL) Houston Texans.

J. Watt’s professional career began when he was selected as the pick No. 11 in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, signing a four-season playing contract worth $11.2 million. During his rookie season, he helped his team mates to reach the playoffs, for the first time in franchise’s history, establishing himself as its defensive backbone. For his performances, Watt was named the Texans Team Rookie of the Year. This whole venture provided the basis for J. J. Watt’s current net worth.

In 2012, due to his great performances and after reaching playoffs once again, Watt received several awards including the Texans Team Most Valuable Player as well as the Defensive Player of the Year Award. After achieving a total of 65 solo tackles and 15 assisted tackles during the 2013 season, J.
