Who is Jase Robertson?
American TV personality, professional duck hunter and businessman Jason Silas ‘Jase’ Robertson was born in Bernice, Louisiana USA, on 16 August 1969, making his zodiac sign Leo. He’s best known for his starring role in the reality TV show “Duck Dynasty”, which also starred Si Roberts and Willie Robertson, and follows the lives of members of a wealthy Louisiana family, as they’re running their own duck-hunting business; the series aired from 2012 to 2017, and won two of its six award nominations.
Education and early life
Jase was raised in Bernice alongside his brothers Jeptha, Willie and Alan, by their mother Marsha ‘Kay’ Robertson who’s a housewife, and their father Phil who’s a professional hunter and businessman; Jase also has an older paternal half-sister.
Phil was his town’s ‘Duck Commander’, and Jase looked up to him while growing up, wanting to become a professional duck hunter as well. The two spent a lot of time together, with Phil teaching Jase everything he knew about duck hunting; it was at the age of eight that Jase was certain about becoming a duck hunter, and so spent nearly the entirety of his spare time in the woods.
He matriculated in 1987, and then chose not to pursue a college degree.
Jase’s career
Jase’s father Phil is the owner of his own hunting and fishing company Duck Commander, and he eventually made his son Willie the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), while Jase became its Chief Operations Officer (coo); Jase is in charge of making duck calls, tuning them and inventing new ones. He’s revealed that he can make a duck call in less than three minutes, while the most popular duck call which he’s invented is ‘Triple Threat’, which utilizes three instead of two reeds.
Jase’s also revealed that he believed the show “Duck Dynasty” would never become popular, and would be cancelled after only a single season.
