Millie Davis was born on 6 December 2006 under the zodiac sign of Sagittarius, in Toronto, Ontario Canada, to Megan and Wayne Davis.  She’s of Afro-Canadian ethnicity and holds Canadian nationality. She has an older brother, Drew Davis, who is also an actor.

Her parents own a musical theatre school called the Charactors Theatre Troupe, in Thornhill, Ontario. Unsurprisingly, Millie was introduced into the world of entertainment when she was just a baby, as at six months of age she appeared in her first TV commercial, “Run for the Cure”.

She was also inspired by her older brother, with whom she has appeared in various movies as siblings, including “Befriend and Betray”, “Orphan Black”, and “A Dark Truth”.

When Millie was still young, she participated in the annual after-school musical theatre program organized by her parents. She also took part in a musical called “Echoes”, at the Toronto Fringe Festival.

After her minor appearance in a commercial as a baby, Millie Davis didn’t start her acting career until nearly four years old, in 2011, playing Caitlyn McQuarrie in “Befriend and Betray”.

The following year, she landed her first movie role in “A Dark Truth”, playing Saber Francis in the action thriller directed by Damian Lee. Speaking of her first movie role, she said, ‘I can clearly remember running through a forest in the Dominican Republic (movie set).’ Then in 2013, she played Hope opposite famous actors Regina Hall, Terrence Howard and Taye Diggs in the American comedy film “The Best Man Holiday”.

Subsequently, she was cast as Gemma Hendrix, daughter of Alison and Donnie Hendrix, in the science fiction series “Orphan Black” opposite Tatiana Maslany, Dylan Bruce and Kevin Hanchard.

From 2014 through 2017, Millie played PAL in “Annedroids”, a Canadian children’s TV series aimed at teaching children about STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – from the perspective of an 11-year old girl. Still in 2014, Millie Davis landed a major role in PBS Kids TV series “Odd Squad” as Ms. O (known as the Big O in the latter seasons), leader of every Odd Squad precinct in the world. She reprised her role in “Odd Squad: The Movie” in 2016, and “Odd Squad: World Turned Odd” in 2018.

In the 2017 family drama “Wonder”, based on the 2012 novel of the same title by R.  J. Palacio, she played Summer, Auggie’s kind and reliable friend. Other films Millie Davis has appeared in are “Remedy” (2014), “Man Seeking Woman” (2015), “Good Boys” (2019), and the series “Dino Dana” (2017-19).
