Before her death, Lizzy was silent for over nine months, before breaking the silence and sharing the sad news of ongoing acute leukemia and its treatment. At the time she returned to public life, Lizzy was feeling a bit better, and had enough strength to talk with her friends and fans.

Unfortunately, she left her fans and friends saddened on 29 November 2019 when it was announced that she passed away. Lizzy was buried in Pythian Grove Cemetery in Berry, Kentucky USA.

Following her death, her friends and Roblox colleagues launched a fundraising live stream for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Kateka22, callmehbob, and others raised over $17,000.

Many of her fans were devastated by the news of her death, and began making short videos in her honor. Her friends turned 1 December into a Lizzy Winkle memorial day, and created the video “In Loving Memory of Lizzy_Winkle”, which now can be found on the callmehbob account and various YouTube channels of people who supported Lizzy’s work.

Her colleagues from Roblox also made an in-game memorial for all Lizzy’s fans.

You could walk to a memorial and write a message with a flower of choice to pay respects to Lizzy. Moreover, a smaller memorial inside Royale High’s ‘Earth’ realm was made, and you can interact with Lizzy’s character within the game.
