Firstly, Aaron began his professional playing career in the Negro League with the Black Bears of Mobile Alabama. He then joined the Clowns of Indianapolis in 1952. Following this, he left the Negro League and signed for the club of the Boston Braves School in Jacksonville in the South Atlantic League. playing in the position of second baseman.
