Gary Wayne Kubiak was born on the 15th August 1961, in Houston, Texas USA, and is a former American Football player as well as the former head coach of the National Football League’s Houston Texans and Denver Broncos. He is most famous for participating in seven Super Bowls of which he won four – three with the San Francisco 49ers as an assistant coach and one as the head coach of the Denver Broncos, in 2016.

Although he matriculated from high school in 1978, in 1999, Gary Kubiak was inducted into Texas High School Football Hall of Fame. Kubiak turned pro when he was selected by the Denver Broncos as the first pick in the eighth round (197 overall) of the NFL Draft in 1983 – the same year when legendary John Elway was picked by the Broncos too. During his professional playing career, which officially ended in 1991, Kubiak served as Elway’s backup, taking part in two Super Bowls in 1987 and 1990, both of which the Broncos lost.
