Marc Antonio Muniz Martinez was born on 16 September 1968, in New York City USA. Of Puerto Rican ancestry, he is the son of Felipe, a hospital cafeteria worker and musician, and his wife Guillermina, who was a housewife. He grew up in East Harlem with seven older siblings.
