Mark Anthony McDermott, born on the 26th October 1961, in Waterbury, Connecticut, is an American actor, who became famous for his roles in the movie “In the Line of Fire” and television series “The Practice”.

Dylan McDermott is the son of Diane and Richard; his parents had him at a very early age of 15 and 17 respectively, but at the age of 6, his parents divorced and he and his sister lived with their mother. Unfortunately, later that year their mother was killed by her boyfriend, an incident which scarred McDermott and led to unfortunate years as a teen until he discovered acting.
After graduating from Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, McDermott helped his father with his bars in New York. When his father married playwright Eve Ensler, Ensler adopted him and encouraged him to pursue his love of acting.
