Daniel Kevin Fogler was born on 20 October 1976, in Brooklyn, New York City USA, of Jewish descent. Dan is an actor, filmmaker, graphic novelist, musician, stand-up comedian and playwright, best known from appearing in numerous films through his career. After completing his studies, Fogler made his Broadway debut in the hit musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, which won him Tony, Outer Circle, Drama Desk Award and Theatre World Awards for Best Featured Actor (Musical). He played this Broadway part for more than nine months, which would increase his net worth considerably. Soon more opportunities would open up for him, and in 2002 he created the character William Morris Barfee which was part of “C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E”. He then made his first television appearance in “30 Seconds to Fame”, impersonating Al Pacino, which would lead to more television projects – he had a recurring role in “The Good Wife”, and in “Hannibal”. He also lent his voice for the FOX show “American Dad”, followed by starring roles in “Secrets & Lies” and “Man Up”.

In 2007, Dan was cast in the film “Balls of Fury”, and later “Good Luck Chuck” alongside Jessica Alba. He continued to play various roles in films such as “Europa Report”, “Scenic Route” and “Take Me Home”. He also expanded on his voice acting repertoire, taking projects such as “Horton Hears a Who!” and “Mars Needs Moms”, and had a part of 2009’s “Kung Fu Panda”, which stars Jack Black. He is also seen in the Type O Negative music video entitled “I Don’t Wanna Be Me”, all of which contributed to his net worth.

Fogler has also done writing and directing work, creating the play “Elephant in The Room” which was produced at the New York International Fringe Festival. He also directed “Hysterical Psycho”, which was showcased during the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. In 2014, he directed “Don Poyote” in which he also had a starring role, alongside Anne Hathaway and Topher Grace. His projects have led him to graphic novels too, including creating the horror anthology entitled “Moon Lake”, which focuses on the titular haunted town. One of his latest projects is “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, which was released in 2016.

For his personal life, it is known that Dan married Jodie Capes in 2009 and they have two children. Jodie is the co-founder of the actor coaching company, Capes Coaching.
