Marcello and Valenzano met each other during their chorus classes. At North Miami Senior High School, from where they both graduated. Their friendship eventually resulted in a partnership and the Cool & Dre production duo started working at full steam. Cool and Dre started their own record label by the name “Epidemic Records”, and signed a contract with Jive Records in 2003. Their breakthrough hit records came in 2005 after they produced the Game’s “Love It or Hate It”, Fat Joe’s “So Much More” and Ja Rule’s “New York, New York”. From this point on, the duo gained more and more popularity, especially after The Game’s song “Love It or Hate It” hit second place on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005. The two were also recognized for their long term collaboration with Fat Joe for whom they had produced several tracks before scoring a hit.

In 2006, Cool & Dre produced one of Lil Eazy-E’s songs from his album “Prince of Compton” and the same year the duo produced the Juvenile’s single “Rodeo” which featured on “The Reality Check”. In 2010 they officially started cooperating with Cash Money Records, and a year later signed with Interscope Records. Their net worth grew steadily.

Their keen sense of business led to Cool and Dre being offered countless deals and collaborations with big hip-hop stars. Since the beginning of their career, the duo has worked with more than 30 famous artists on the rap scene, such as, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, Gym Class Heroes and Trick Daddy, among others, boosting their overall net worth by producing songs such as, “We Made It” (2008), performed by Busta Rhymes featuring Linkin Park, “Say I” (2006), sang by Chrstina Milian and Young Jeezy, “Peace Sign\Index Down”(2008), which is a result of Gym Class Heroes and Busta Rhymes collaboration. Furthermore, they produced the song “Celebration” (2012), performed by Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Chris Brown and The Game. All these productions respectively increased their overall net worth, however, their latest work in the music industry includes their own album entitled “The Epidemic Begins Now (Cool & Dre)”, released in 2013.

Little is known about their personal lives, however, one thing is sure: Cool and Dre are dedicated musicians, and for now, all they think about is their career and how to increase their overall net worth.
