Matthew Rutler is an American film producer and musician, who is a guitarist and vocalist of The Nate Mott Band (also called New Daddy Band) and is also famously known for being the fiancé of the multi-talented singer-songwriter, TV personality and actress Christina Aguilera.

Film Career

Soon after he graduated, Matthew landed a job in the costume and assistant directing departments of the romantic comedy “The Proposal” in 2009. He also came in as an additional crew of the film, when one of the cast members fell ill. He has since served as an assistant director of several movies, such as “Law Abiding Citizen” and “Surrogates” both in 2009, and the crime thriller “Edge of Darkness” in the year that followed. He also came in as a staff assistant in the 2010 crime thriller film “The Town.”

Matthew joined the Nate Mott Band when it was created in 2006. It’s made up of three other members: Nate Mott, who serves as a guitarist and lead vocalist, the drummer Hoyt Hottel, and Evan Van Gorder, who is a bass guitarist.
