Matthew Rutler is an American film producer and musician, who is a guitarist and vocalist of The Nate Mott Band (also called New Daddy Band) and is also famously known for being the fiancé of the multi-talented singer-songwriter, TV personality and actress Christina Aguilera.

Matthew Rutler is a native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, and was born under the Pisces zodiac sign on 14 March 1985, which makes him 37 years old as of 2022. He’s the youngest child of the freelance writer Kathleen Rutler, and her husband, the car mechanic, David Rutler, and was raised together with his four siblings, sisters Liliana who formerly worked as campaign manager for the advertising agency Recrue Media, and Olivia, who was an employee of the New York-based Columbia University. Film Career
Soon after he graduated, Matthew landed a job in the costume and assistant directing departments of the romantic comedy “The Proposal” in 2009. He also came in as an additional crew of the film, when one of the cast members fell ill. He has since served as an assistant director of several movies, such as “Law Abiding Citizen” and “Surrogates” both in 2009, and the crime thriller “Edge of Darkness” in the year that followed. He also came in as a staff assistant in the 2010 crime thriller film “The Town.”
Musical Carrer
Matthew joined the Nate Mott Band when it was created in 2006. It’s made up of three other members: Nate Mott, who serves as a guitarist and lead vocalist, the drummer Hoyt Hottel, and Evan Van Gorder, who is a bass guitarist. The band released the album “Like We Mean It” in 2008, and before the year ended, it opened for the Steelers Vs. Patriots football game. It has toured across the U.S. and performed in live shows to raise funds. Nate Mott Band performed a song in the film “The Proposal.”
Nate Mott Band was previously featured in the “Weekend Edition” of National Public Radio, and also performed for the New England Patriots’ televised charity event, “Light Foundation.” They have also appeared in numerous concerts such as Rock the Ink and Dunkin Donuts Center. MX and MasterClass
2014 saw Matthew and his fiancé founding the now-defunct firm MX Productions, LLC. and in the year that followed, they created MX Investment Funds, LLC. with which they invested in MasterClass educational and celebrity-tutorial start-up. In 2016, the couple produced the musical game show “Tracks,” which aired on Spike TV. They also served as executive producers of the cooking series “Chef Without Boarders” in 2018.
