Blair is an actor and director, probably best known for the role of Jonathan Rollins for the TV drama “LA Law”. In 2010, he portrayed the United States President Elias Martinez for “The Event”, and then went on to perform in the Broadway production of “A Streetcar Named Desire”.

He also became a part of the list of “Most Influential Faces of the 90s”, and “50 Most Beautiful People”. Aside from these, he’s also authored a novel entitled “Casanegra: A Tennyson Hardwick Novel”.

For his personal life. it is known that Blair has been married to Desiree DaCosta since 1994, and they have three children.

Politically he supported the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Additionally Blair has done a lot of charity work including being a part of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was also a spokesperson for YouthAIDS and has helped established AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s Blair Underwood Clinic. Aside from these, he’s appeared in a public service announcement for The Fulfillment Fund.
