Who is AnEsonGib?
Ali Loui Al-Fakhri – aka AnEsonGib – was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 4 July 1996 – his zodiac sign is Cancer, and he holds Saudi nationality. He’s a YouTuber, social media star, and a boxer, perhaps known best for making videos about the “FIFA” video game franchise.
Early life and education
Ali was born into a Muslim family, and has a younger brother who is also a YouTuber, going under the name iSwift. Ali moved to London, England with his parents and brother when he was nine years old, and matriculated from a local high school in 2014, but didn’t enroll at a college.
YouTube career
Ali launched his YouTube channel on 18 August 2012, uploading his first video entitled “Fifa 13 BEST FREE KICK EVER!!!!” on 8 November the same year.
In the following months, he exclusively posted videos about “FIFA 13” and “FIFA 14”, but didn’t attract a wide audience.
His breakthrough on the platform came in April 2014, when he uploaded the video “30 MILLION COINS WAGER”, in collaboration with the popular British YouTuber KSI. Ali’s videos soon started attracting more and more views, and two months later, his video “AnEsonGib Plays Football” went viral, surpassing a million views in the first month after it was uploaded in June 2014, while his channel hit the 100,000 subscribers milestones two months later.
He has also collaborated numerous times with the YouTuber W2S on his channel, mostly around the FIFA franchise. In 2016, he participated in a charity soccer match in Southampton, England, along with other popular YouTubers.
Ali has gained recognition for his exceptional gaming skills, and is also known for his luck in opening in-game packs. Since he often gets high ranked players in FIFA Ultimate Team packs, he has given himself the title of the ‘pack king’.
As of November 2021, Ali’s YouTube channel numbers more than 2.3 million subscribers, while his videos have been viewed almost 230 million times. His most popular video is “*UNLOCKED* YouTubers FUT Cards REVEALED!! (FIFA 17)”, which has been watched almost five million times since it was uploaded in February 2017.
Boxing career
Ali got his start in amateur boxing in 2018, fighting his friend and fellow YouTube creator, MayPlaysFifa, in a bout at the Copper Box Arena in London on 3 February. Their match was held as part of the bigger event, culminating with the KSI vs. Joe Weller fight, and ended in Ali’s victory by technical knockout in the second round.
In March 2018, he challenged the British YouTuber, Jay Swinger to a boxing match, as a KSI vs. Logan Paul undercard, which he accepted. They fought on 31 August 2018 in Manchester Arena; Ali won after four rounds by unanimous decision (UD).
In the following year, Ali decided to take his boxing career one step further, and turned professional, making his debut on 30 January 2020 in Miami, Florida, in a match against the American YouTube star, Jake Paul; Ali lost by technical knockout, two minutes into the first round,
On 12 June 2021, Ali fought an exhibition match against the TikToker Tayler Holden, as a part of the ‘YouTubers vs. TikTokers’ series. They fought all five rounds, with Ali reportedly controlling the pace for the entire fight. Initially, the match was announced to be a draw, which caused a backlash from British YouTubers and viewers, who claimed that Ali should’ve been announced as a winner.
Following the controversy, the match was reviewed by the judges, and the score was changed to a UD victory for Ali.
In September 2020, Ali was challenged to a fight by the YouTuber Slim, but he declined the challenge, claiming that Slim is not famous enough, although he said that he respects him. However, in the following two months, Ali said negative things about Slim publicly, to which Slim responded by saying that Ali was too scared to fight him, and that he embarrassed the Arab community. Several British YouTubers took Slim’s side, and said that they wanted to see a match between him and Ali. In early 2021, Slim revealed that their fight was close to happening, but Ali has so far backed out.
Presence on social media platforms
Aside from making YouTube videos, Ali also has a Twitch channel, numbering more than 30,000 followers, and over 100,000 views. He used to stream his gameplays of “FIFA 15” and “FIFA 16”, but hasn’t been active on the platform in the past two years.
On Instagram, his account ‘@anesongib’ is followed by more than 900,000 people; he mainly posts photos and videos of himself at the gym, preparing for his boxing matches, and often flaunts his toned body in shirtless pictures.
Ali is also active on Twitter, with his account numbering close to 800,000 followers, and over 35,000 tweets.

Love life and girlfriend
Ali is a very private person, and despite being a social media star, avoids revealing details about his personal life publicly, thus not a lot is known about his relationships. Furthermore, his fans seem to respect his privacy, and he hasn’t been followed by any rumors about his love life.
He currently appears to be single, hasn’t been married or engaged, and doesn’t have children.

As a teenager, Ali was a promising soccer player, and was named a Top Youth Player by FC Barcelona.
His YouTube alias, AnEsonGib, is read as ‘Big Nose Na’ backwards, with the ‘Na’ being added because ‘EsonGib’ nickname was already taken.
To prepare for his boxing matches, Ali has to follow a strict diet and training regimen. He goes to the gym at least five times per week, doing a variety of strength training and cardio exercises, He avoids alcohol, sweets and carbohydrates, with his diet mainly consisting of foods rich in protein and healthy fats.
