Adam Vinatieri Net Worth $10 Million

Adam attended Central High School and played in basketball, soccer, track, wrestling, and football. He was originally a quarterback and a middle linebacker before becoming a kicker, and his performances earned him All-State honors. After high school, he went on to become kicker for the Army (while attending West Point for just two weeks!) before returning and attending South Dakota State University. He became a placekicker and punter, becoming the university’s all-time leading scorer by the time he had graduated.

During 1995, he began training to be part of professional football, and also entered the World League of American Football joining the Amsterdam Admirals – they lost the European Super Bowl. The following year he was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent, and played his first 10 years with the Patriots. He quickly earned a name for himself, making clutch field goals so helping the team win very tight scenarios. Vinatieri would help the Patriots earn their first Super Bowl win in Super Bowl XXXVI and would make a similar kick during Super Bowl XXXVIII. During 2004, Adam became the leader of scoring in the NFL, and would later help the Patriots win again in Super Bowl XXXIX.

He finished his final season with the Patriots during 2005 and was later signed by the Indianapolis Colts on a five-year, $3.5 million contract, boosting his net worth further. He helped the Colts reach Super Bowl XLI and would be responsible for most of the field goals in their victory against the Chicago Bears. This was his fourth Super Bowl win, only one behind by the record held by Charles Haley. Adam continued to play for the Colts in the following years, making consistent performances except for an injury-plagued 2009 season, but the following year he would come back and surpass many records during the 2010 season run. In 2015, he would become the all-time leading scorer of the Colts, and in 2016 he signed another extension with the team worth $6 million.

Outside of football, Vinatieri has been in a commercial for Snickers and has also appeared in shows such as “Saturday Night Live”, “NBC Sunday Night Football”, “NFL Monday Night Football”, and “ESPN Sunday Night Football”.

For his personal life, Adam has been married to Valeri since 2001, and they have two children. They frequent Carmel, Indiana during football season and stay in Celebration, Florida during the off-season. He is also related to renowned daredevil Evel Knievel and scientist Tim Foecke.
