Who is Kelly Stables?

American actress Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis, Missouri USA, on 26 January 1978, meaning that her zodiac sign’s Aquarius. She’s had roles in over 60 movies and TV series, and is perhaps best known for her playing of Kelly in the popular comedy series “Superstore”, created by Justin Spitzer, and which starred Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash and Colton Dunn. It follows a group of people who are working at a big box store, the series aired from 2015 to 2021 and won six of its 30 award nominations.

Education and early life

Kelly grew up in St. Louis alongside her sister Tanya Childress, where they were raised by their parents who prefer to stay away from media, thus not a lot about them has been disclosed; it’s believed that their mother was an accountant, and their father a college professor.

Kelly became interested in acting when she was around six years old, after she had watched a theatre play with her family, and she went on to appear in many school plays throughout her entire education. Kelly made her debut film appearance in the 2002 comedy “B. S.”, and some of her following roles were in the comedy “Comedy Central Laughs for Life Telethon 2003”, and in the same year the family fantasy comedy “The Haunted Mansion”, and the romantic comedy “Pride and Prejudice”.

She gained recognition in 2004, when cast to play Tiny Blonde in the sports comedy “Bring it On: Again”, directed by Damon Santostefano, and which starred Anne Judson-Yager, Bree Turner and Kevin Cooney. It follows a group of new students who’ve founded their own cheer squad, and the film was nominated for two awards. It tells the story of a falcon who’s journeyed to the city of Zambezia, and the film won three of its nine award nominations. It follows the life of a physician who can speak to animals, and the film won three of its 12 award nominations.

Kelly’s two most recent film roles have been voice roles in the 2021 animated action adventure “Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans” and the 2022 animated action comedy “Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank”.

Kelly’s debut TV series role was her playing of Young Sophie in the 2002 pilot episode of the comedy “The Grubbs”, and she gained recognition with her voicing of the main characters Will Vandom and Astral Drop in 52 episodes of the animated action adventure “W. I. T. C. H.” (2004-2006) .It also starred Candi Milo and Liza Del Mundo, follows five female defenders of the walls between universes, and the series was nominated for a Casting Society of America Award for Best Animated Voice-Over Television Casting.

The remainder of the 2000s saw Kelly appear in an episode or two of the science fiction comedy “Cavemen”, the romantic drama “The Bold and the Beautiful”, and the crime mystery “Life”.

From 2011 through 2015, Kelly starred as Eden in the comedy “The Exes”, which Mark Reisman created, and which also starred David Alan Basche, Wayne Knight and Donald Faison. It follows a group of recently divorced friends, and the series won one of its six award nominations.

On 7 September 2012, Kelly gave birth to their first boy Kendrick Kurt Patino, and on 2 April 2015 to their second boy Kellen William Patino; her sons can be seen featured in many pictures uploaded onto her Instagram account.

Kelly hasn’t spoken of other men whom she’s dated, and is married to Kurt Patino as of December 2022, and they have two sons together.
