Who is Brittany Cartwright?
Brittany Cartwright Cauchi is an American TV personality, model, and social media star. She was born on 25 January 1989, in Kentucky, USA, and rose to fame after appearing in the reality TV series “Vanderpump Rules”, which premiered on Bravo in 2013.
In addition to her reality TV career, Brittany has modeled for various brands, and launched her own clothing line, “From the Heart”. She’s active on social media platforms such as Instagram, on which she has more than 1.6 million followers.
Early life and education
Brittany grew up in the small town of Lexington, Kentucky. Her parents divorced when she was five years old, and she was then raised solely by her mother, Sherri.
Brittany was a very popular student during her high school days, and was a member of her school’s cheerleading team. After matriculating in 2007, she moved to Richmond, Kentucky, where she attended Eastern Kentucky University, studying nursing. After leaving college, Brittany briefly worked as a waitress at Hooters, a popular fast-food restaurant chain.
TV appearances
Brittany’s life changed in 2015, when she met “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Jax Taylor. The two hit it off immediately, and their relationship quickly became one of the show’s central storylines, as Brittany herself joined the show in 2016.
“Vanderpump Rules” is an American reality TV series, set in SUR Restaurant & Lounge, a popular restaurant and bar in West Hollywood, California, which is owned by reality TV personality Lisa Vanderpump. The series follows the personal and professional lives of the restaurant’s staff, who are a group of young and ambitious servers, bartenders and hosts.
The show has been a huge success, and has spawned numerous spin-offs, including “Vanderpump Dogs,” which focuses on Vanderpump’s animal rescue organization. The show followed the couple as they traveled to Brittany’s hometown in Kentucky to spend time with her family and friends. The spin-off was filmed in Versailles, Kentucky, near where Brittany grew up.
The show focused on Jax and Brittany’s relationship, and their interactions with Brittany’s family and friends. It also explored the cultural differences between their lives in West Hollywood and the more traditional lifestyle in Kentucky. The show featured a number of memorable moments, including Jax participating in a turkey hunt, Brittany showing Jax how to make traditional Southern dishes, and the couple spending time with Brittany’s grandmother, affectionately known as ‘Mamaw’.

Marriage with Jax Taylor
Brittany and Jax met in 2015 at Gold Spike Lounge in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brittany soon moved to Los Angeles, California to star alongside Jax in “Vanderpump Rules”.
However, their relationship hasn’t been without its ups and downs. During the premiere of season six of the show, Brittany learned that Jax had been cheating on her with their former co-star, Faith Stowers. They then went through a very public break-up, before reconciling in December 2017, and became engaged in June of the following year.

A little more than a year later, they exchanged vows in Kentucky, however, only two months after they became a married couple, Jax was spotted not wearing his wedding ring, which sparked rumors that things may not be going so well between him and his wife. During season eight of “Vanderpump Rules”, he also questioned whether rushing into marriage with Brittany was the right idea.
Despite the issues, the couple stayed together, and in September 2020, Brittany announced that she was expecting a son, and they welcomed, Cruz on 12 April 2021.
Both Brittany and Jax left “Vanderpump Rules” in 2020, to take a break from public life and focus on raising their child.

Jason Michael Cauchi – aka Jax Taylor – is an American reality TV personality and model, best known for his appearances in the reality TV show “Vanderpump Rules”. He was born on 11 July 1979, in Shelby Township, Michigan.
Growing up in Michigan, Jax was an athlete and played football, hockey and baseball. Until he turned 19, he was a practicing Catholic and regularly attended church. After matriculating from Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township in 1998, he enrolled in Michigan State University but eventually left to join the US Navy. Following training at a base in Norfolk, Virginia, Jax served in the Navy for six months. Not long after leaving, he moved to Los Angeles, where he briefly worked as a model.

In 2013, Jax joined the cast of “Vanderpump Rules”, quickly becoming one of the show’s most controversial and polarizing cast members, known for his bad boy reputation, volatile temper, and tumultuous relationships. Throughout his time in the series, Jax was involved in a number of scandals and controversies. He cheated on his girlfriend, Stassi Schroeder, with her best friend, Kristen Doute, which caused a rift in their friendship and led to a major feud, while his tumultuous relationship with Brittany also generated controversy.
Jax’s behavior even led to legal trouble – in 2015, he was arrested for stealing a pair of sunglasses from a boutique in Hawaii, and in 2018, he was arrested for apparently stealing a $300 pair of sunglasses from a store in Los Angeles.
