Who is B. Simone?
American actress, producer, director, TV personality and singer Braelyn ‘B.’ Simone was born in Dallas, Texas USA, on 5 April 1990, making her zodiac sign Aries. She’s had roles in 10 movies and TV series, and has appeared in a couple of reality shows, while she’s probably best known for having starred in the comedy show “Wild ‘N Out” between 2017 and 2020. Nick Cannon created the show, and he’s also today starring in it, alongside Chico Bean and DJ D-Wrek; each episode follows two teams of improv comedians as they’re competing against each other, and the show’s won one of its four award nominations.
Education and early life
B. Simone was raised alongside her sisters Ashley and Adria, and brother Tevin in Dallas, by their father Kelvin Clemons who’s a pastor, and their mother Shanon Biles who’s a housewife; not a lot else is known about B. Simone’s family, because she respects their privacy, but it’s known that she was adopted by her grandparents when she was in her pre-teens, and that she has two step-siblings. Shanon revealed that she had to give her children up for adoption after Kelvin had abandoned the family, and after she had become addicted to drugs.
B. Simone found comfort in comedy, and often performed for her friends while attending a local high school in Dallas; she was also interested in acting and dancing during her teenage years, and began building herself a fanbase on the internet.

Simone performed comedy at various venues around Atlanta, and on 3 July 2013 launched her self-titled YouTube channel, onto which she then began uploading her comedy content; the channel’s today subscribed to by over 850,000 people, while all her videos combined have been watched more than 60 million times.
She remained focused on stand-up comedy and her internet presence until 2016, when she made her debut film appearance, playing Sasha in the comedy “Digital Lives Matter”, directed by Terri J. Vaughn, and which starred Rashan Ali, Carlos Aviles and Brooklyn Beedles; the movie follows a social media star whose Instagram account’s been hacked by one of his dissatisfied fans.
In 2019, B. Simone was cast to play Angel in the comedy movie “I Got the Hook Up 2”, and the same year saw her portray Erica in the comedy film “Dear Santa, I Need a Date”, which Terri J. Vaugh directed, and which starred Jay DeVon Johnson, Aisha Duran and Isaiah Jarel; it follows two people who are looking for a date for Christmas.
B. Simone went on to play Vanessa in the 2020 comedy movie “Ray Jr’s Rent Due” and Young Summer in the 2020 family comedy film “Holiday Heartbreak”, and in 2021, she was cast to portray Tiffany Harrington in the drama “Hip Hop Family Christmas”, which Greg Carter wrote and directed, and which starred Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Jonathan Kite and Valarie Pettiford. It follows a group of hip hop musicians as they’re spending Christmas together.
In 2022, B. Simone played Alyssa in the thriller movie “Battlegrounds”, and most recently, she portrayed Lauryn in the crime film “Scheme Queens”, written and directed by Cas Sigers-Beedles, and which starred Nicole Acosta, Sean Anthony Baker and Brii Renee’. It follows four women who’ve decided to try and rob a jewel thief.
B. Simone’s currently shooting for the upcoming horror movie “Meat: Horror” and the comedy series “Finding Happy (2022)”.

Simone directed the 2019 reality show “Girls Cruise”, and produced all 11 episodes of the popular 2019 reality show “You’re My Boooyfriend”, in which she also starred alongside Darian Barnes and Malik Rollins; it follows B. Simone as she’s trying to find a boyfriend. She also produced the 2022 crime movie “Scheme Queens”.

It’s rumored that she dated American rapper DaBaby in 2020, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
In February 2021, B. Simone began dating American Football player Chris Smith, who’s currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL), but the two split in July of the same year.
