Who is Alaia Baldwin?
A model and fashion enthusiast, Alaia Baldwin is perhaps known best as the daughter of the famous actor Stephen Baldwin, although she’s made a name for herself thanks to her modeling career, represented by prestigious modeling agencies such as The Squad, in London, England, and D’Management in Milan, Italy.
Early life and education
Alaia was born under the zodiac sign of Aquarius on 23 January 1993, in Nyack, New York USA, thus she holds American nationality, although she comes from a family of English, Irish, French and Brazilian descent.
Most of her childhood Alaia spent with her parents and sister in Nyack, a village near Orangetown. Her parents preferred to keep their daughters away from the media’s attention when they were younger, thus there is nothing known about Alaia’s childhood days.

He began his acting career on television, and is perhaps known best for his role in the western series “The Young Riders“. Stephen often participated in reality shows including “The Mole” and “Celebrity Big Brother“. Speaking of his significant movie roles, worth mentioning are his performances in “The Usual Suspects“ and “The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas“.
Alaia’s mother is Brazilian graphic designer Kennya Deodato Baldwin, a daughter of the renowned Brazilian composer, Eumir Deodato. Kennya prefers to keep her life away from the media’s attention, and she’s rarely seen in public.

The most famous from this family is certainly Alaia’s younger sister, Hailey, who besides her successful modeling career, rose to fame after she married the widely famous singer, Justin Bieber.
Alaia’s parents came under the spotlight in June 2009 when their 1.4-acre home in Rockland County, New York was publicly auctioned after Stephen and Kennya defaulted on more than $820,000 in mortgage payments. In July, Stephen filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, claiming more than $2.3 million in debt – court papers showed that he and Kennya owed more than $2 million in taxes and credit card debt.
Career
Alaia launched her modeling career aged 22, when she was scouted by the model manager, Rene Gonzalez, and during the New York Fashion Week in 2015, she signed with State Management. She moved to New York City to focus on her career full-time, and subsequently Alaia also signed for Milan and London’s modeling agencies.
Alaia made her acting debut portraying DJ B Dancer in the short comedy movie “ DJ B: Party All The Time, Let’s Celebrate! (Hey Hey)“ in 2013, her only role to date.

Alaia is an advocate for health and wellbeing – publicly battling Endometriosis, (a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes), Alaia uses her social media platforms to spread awareness of this condition.

There have been various rumors concerning both Alaia’s love life and her sexual orientation, and most of the rumors were saying that she’s a lesbian, since she has never been seen publicly with any man. Alaia hasn’t commented on these assumptions, and keeps her personal matters secret.
Some reports were saying that she is dating her childhood friend, however, until 2015, no one knew who her partner was. When Alaia publicized her relationship with her future husband, Andrew Aronow, it was clear that she’s straight. Reportedly, Alaia and Andrew met through a joint friend, actress Christie Brinkley, and began dating in January 2014. He proposed to her on 29 April 2016.
The two were featured in Harper’s Bazaar’s first-ever engagement session for BAZAAR Bridal just two months before their wedding – Alaia and Andrew married on 2 September 2017, in a ceremony held at Blue Hill restaurant at Stone Barns in Westchester County, New York State. Alaia’s maid of honor was her sister, Hailey, and her cousin Ireland (Alec Baldwin’s daughter) was one of the bridesmaids.

Andrew was born in 1986, and he is a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native. Besides being known as the husband of the famous Baldwin daughter, Andrew Aronow is known for his work as a writer and producer for the documentary movie “Fandom“. He currently works as a producer for Pocket Aces Production, and also worked on the independent movie “Gabriel“. In February 2022, he began working as a podcast producer in his own studio, called KT studio.
On 17 August 2020, Alaia and Andrew welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Iris Elle, who just turned two, and her parents shared photos from her birthday party on their Instagram accounts.
