Will Hayden Net Worth $1.75 million
Will is partly of Choctaw descent from his mother’s side. Hayden has said that he survived a big house fire at the age of three of four, an event which represents his first contact with fire and its danger. He was a firearms enthusiast from his early childhood, and read a lot about weapons and warfare.By the age of twelve, Hayden had begun building firearms and six years later he enlisted in the Marines, where he served for six years and achieved the rank of Sergeant. Upon his return from the service, Will started his own construction and refrigeration business while still working on guns on the side.
However this side business of his took off by the late nineties, and he decided to sell his main business in order to officially open the “Red Jacket Firearms”, which is a translation of his mother’s Choctaw name, Osguma. His first commercial order came from a large distributor, Manotick Firearms, who called for twenty rifles, and by offering lower prices, Will managed to negotiate in advertising his business to be listed as “Proudly Manufactured by Red Jacket” in the advertisements. It was thanks to “Atlantic Firearms” who noticed the ad that his business flourished. In 2011 Hayden became a participant of a reality TV series called “Sons of Guns”, which centered around his Louisiana-based business, “Red Jacket Firearms LLC”.
In August 2014, Hayden was charged with molestation of a juvenile and aggravated crimes against nature. However, he stated that the allegations were false and made up by his ex-girlfriend, the teenage girl’s mother. Will was later charged with rape of a child based on the alleged victim’s statements, and these events led to cancellation of the “Sons of Guns” that same year, and it was announced that “Red Jacket Firearms” would be legally separated from Hayden. His daughter and son-in-law also appeared on the show as they both work at Red Jacket. Hayden faced another accusation, this time from his oldest daughter Stephanie, who stated that Will had raped her when she was twelve, which saw his bail was raised to $250,000; he pleaded not guilty, and still awaits trial.
Will is married to Rachel Hayden and the couple have two daughters.
