William Champion was born on the 31st July 1978, in Southampton, County of Hampshire, England, and is a musician and drummer, probably best known as a member of the English alternative rock band Coldplay. In 2014, the band released the album “Ghost Stories” which topped the music charts in most European countries, the US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Canada. The following year, they released their seventh studio album “A Head Full of Dreams” (2016) which was also very successful.

Moreover, Will also had a short guest appearance in the television series “Game of Thrones” (2013); at the Red Wedding he was seen as one of the musicians who performed the song “The Rains of Castamere”.

Finally, in the personal life of the musician, he married Marianne Dark in 2003, and they are the parents of three children. In spare time, he’s an avid soccer fan, of Southampton FC.
