Who Is Eliana Jones?
Eliana Jones was born on 28 October 1997, in Toronto, Otario Canada, to parents Sarina and Darrin Jones; she has an older brother named Julian, a DJ best known by his stage name Julian Dzeko, formerly part of the famous electronic music duo Dzeko & Torres.
Eliana competed in gymnastics from a very early age, though her competitive hobby started to negatively affecting her health. At 11 years old, Eliana was told that the continuous injuries she sustained while competing were affecting her growth, leading her to completely abandon gymnastics when she hurt her back at 12 years old.
Although Eliana’s possible career as a professional gymnast was cut short, Eliana joined a performing art school to replace her old hobby. It was in that school that Eliana fell in love with acting, taking part in several theater plays such as “Almost, Maine” and ”Chicago”. As she told International Film Review, the latter was her favorite because it allowed her to join the performance of the song “Cell Block Tango”.
Eliana’s increasing love for acting also extended to her becoming a fan of people she saw playing characters on TV and film, admittedly dreaming of becoming as ‘talented’ and ‘respected’ as them, Eliana affirmed in the same interview.

Beginnings
Eliana Jones’ first credited role came with the 2010 series “Nikita”, based on the film “La Femme Nikita” from 1990. Eliana played the role of a Young Alexandra Udinov, whose adult version was portrayed by Lyndsy Fonseca.
Regarding this role, Eliana told International Film Review that it had been a ‘blessing’ for her, giving her a chance to share the stage with the likes of Fonseca, Shane West, and Maggie Q. She also described it as a ‘learning experience’, as it pushed her to learn some Russian to deliver her lines, on top of challenging her acting skills by meeting Fonseca’s ‘level of acting’ as her younger self. Eliana’s appearances covered the first and second seasons of the show, appearing for the last time in the 33rd overall episode “Pale Fire”.
In 2012, Eliana appeared in an episode of the quiz show “Skatoony”, before being cast as Alexa Sworn in the drama “Hemlock Grove”, starring Bill Skarsgård and Famke Janssen. This series also allowed Eliana to meet and become friends with Emilia McCarthy.
Eliana appeared in eight episodes of “Hemlock Grove” before being cast in 2013 as Greer Somerset in the made-for-TV movie “Port Hope”, and as a teen version of the bounty hunter character Tamsin, in the series “Lost Girl”.
Next Roles & Rise To Fame
Eliana Jones’ debut on the big screen came with the 2013 movie “Step Dogs”, a family-centered story in which she played the character Lacey. The next year, she joined the cast of the medical drama “Saving Hope” for a total of four episodes, on top of portraying the recurring character Summer Dewhurst in the hybrid live-action and animated series “The Stanley Dynamic”.

In this series, Eliana had to adapt to its multi-camera format, and was allowed to share the set with people her age, contrary to previous roles. As she told International Film Review, “The Stanley Dynamic”, Summer was a character she felt represented her greatly due to her competitive but well-intentioned personality.
Following her exit from the show in 2016, Eliana appeared in several movies, including the comedies “The Swap” and “Double Mommy”, the horror TV film “Nevernock”, the short film “Prom Night”, and the thriller “Night Hunter” in which Henry Cavill stars.
Eliana has risen to fame through appearing in several successful series, starting with the character Josie in an episode of “Supergirl”, then cast in the recurring role of Gwen in “Northern Rescue”, on top of appearing in a couple of episodes of the 2021 bilingual comedy “Acapulco”. On top of that, the year 2022 also saw Eliana play the teen Kill Bill character in the virtual-reality project “Eli Roth’s Haunted House: Trick VR Treat”, starring Vanessa Hudgens. This was the second time Eliana worked with Roth, who also directed “Hemlock Grove”. Back in 2015, Eliana described the experience of working with Roth as ‘humbling’, due to her admiration for him.

Details about Eliana and Rosa’s relationship are unclear, but it seemingly ended around early 2017, as in November of that year Eliana was revealed to be dating Chase De Leo, an ice hockey player who nowadays plays for the San Diego Gulls.
