Bonnie Aarons was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 3 June 1959 – her zodiac sign is Gemini, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and writer, who’s been credited with appearing in over 40 movies and TV series, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of The Nun in the eponymous 2018 mystery thriller horror movie. Directed by Corin Hardy, it starred Demian Bichir, Jonas Bloquet and Taissa Farmiga, and follows an experienced priest and a novice, who have been sent to Romania by the Vatican to investigate the death of a nun, who was apparently killed by a demonic nun; the movie won two of the three awards for which it was nominated.

Early life and education
Bonnie was raised in Los Angeles by her parents, about whom nothing’s known, as she respects their privacy; it’s said that her father was the owner of a grocery store, and that her mother also worked in it. As Bonnie hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, she’s believed to be an only child.
She became interested in acting at a very early age, and appeared in various plays performed at a local high school. Upon matriculating in 1977, Bonnie didn’t attend college, but numerous auditions for roles both in movies and TV series, usually being rejected because of her looks, especially because of her strange nose.
She worked various jobs for the following decade, before being advised by friends to move to Europe, and try looking for work in the film industry there. Bonnie soon found herself appearing in European commercials, and after gaining some recognition, she returned to the US and launched her acting career.

She made her debut film appearance in the 1994 music video “Counting Crows: Round Here”, while a couple of her following roles were in the 1994 romantic crime comedy “Exit to Eden”, the 1995 action science fiction “Caged Heat 3000”, and the 1996 comedy “Dear God”.
She gained recognition in 2001, when cast to play Bum in the critically acclaimed mystery thriller drama “Mulholland Drive”, written and directed by David Lynch, and which starred Naomi Watts, Laura Harring and Justin Theroux. In 2011, Bonnie and her colleagues won an Action on Film International Film Festival Award for Outstanding Cast Performance, for “Dahmer vs. Gacy”, and in 2017, she won a FilmQuest Festival Award for Best Supporting Actress – Short, for her performance in “Nocturnally Yours”.
