The same year, she appeared as Cleo in the Netflix-produced, Primetime Emmy Award-winning TV mini-drama series “The Queen’s Gambit”, with Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead role of orphaned chess prodigy Beth Harmon.
Moreover, she was Lily Laurence in the TV mini-series “Roadkill”, starring Hugh Laurie as Peter Laurence, a politician whose personal life is falling apart, co-starring Helen McCrory and Olivia Vinall. This was one of McCrory’s last appearances before she passed away the following year from breast cancer.
