American actor and social media personality Jermelle Simon was born under the zodiac sign Aries on 16 April 1989, in South Carolina, USA. He has only 10 acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying Rico in the 2017 episode “Dig” of the popular crime series “Animal Kingdom”, which Jonathan Lisco created, and which starred Jake Weary, Ben Robson and Shawn Hatosy. It follows the lives of members of a family involved in criminal activities, the series aired from 2016 through 2022 and won one of its five award nominations.

Jermelle played the main character Averill in the 2019 short sports drama “A Rodeo Film”, which Darius Dawson wrote and directed, and which also starred Charlee Earle and Phrederic Semaj; it follows a bull rider who’s lost passion for the sport, and now has to choose whether to stay loyal to his family’s legacy or pursue his dreams. The movie won three of its four award nominations.

Jermelle’s only other film role has been playing Domonique in the 2023 short comedy “7 Minutes of Heaven”, directed by Janeen Talbott, and which starred Pages Matam, Gabriel Ladd Jr. and David Hunter Jr. It follows a gender reveal party gone wrong, and the film won a 2023 Baltimore International Black Film Festival Award for Narrative Short.

Jermelle’s appeared in only four TV series, including “Animal Kingdom”. His debut was playing Isham in the 2013 episode “Rib Shots and Breast-aurants” of the reality show “Tattoo Nightmares”, which SallyAnn Salsano created, and which starred Big Gus Demented, Jasmine Rodriguez and Tommy Helm. It follows a group of tattoo artists as they’re covering their customers’ bad tattoos.
