Hitman Holla is an American-born battle rapper, actor, and former high school and collegiate athlete who was a member of the Ultimate Rap League (URL). He’s also known for his appearances in “Wild n’ Out.”

Age, Early Life, and Education Background

Hitman Holla was born Gerald Fulton Jr. under the Aries zodiac sign on 29 March 1988, in St. Louis, Missouri, and is 36 years old as of 2024. He’s one of the sons of activist and founder of Passion for Pink Foundation, Sevmek ‘Sue’ Fulton and Gerald Fulton Sr. (Big Gerald). His mother has been serving as an Operation Specialist at the St. Louis-based financial services firm, Edward Jones, since 2000. He’s the elder brother of Showout, who’s also a social media personality and battle rapper. Showout has over 115,000 followers on Instagram (@showwoutt) and was previously involved in a viral WorldStarHipHop viral battle rap. His father is very supportive of his career, and has attended some of his battles rap sessions to bad-mouth some of his opponents.

Hitman grew up very physically active and played basketball when he was in high school; his skills brought him a scholarship to California State, Northridge. He then transferred to the St. Louis-based University of Missouri to play collegiate basketball. While in college, Hitman developed an interest in battle rapping and as a result, he quit sports and dropped out of college in his junior year to pursue his dreams.

Career Beginnings: Gangs and Battle Raps

In an interview with VladTV, Hitman gave a glimpse of how it was growing up in his hometown of St. Louis. He disclosed that he’d been involved in street fights with several rival gangs including Crips, and was previously linked to two homicide cases that never made it to court. Hitman is a reformed man; he began battle rapping in 2008 when he went against the American rapper RemyD. His savage bars and clever wording quickly made him a household name in the battle rap circuit,  also recognized for his aggressive delivery and for ending most of his rounds with either ‘Yet Yet’ or ‘Ball Game.” His musical influences are the rappers X-Factor and Mook. Holla has been a member of Battle American Fight Klub and SMACK/ URL – he was banned from the latter (Ultimate Rap League) for threatening to knock-out the battle rapper, Norbes.

Albums and Songs

In 2013, Holla released his debut album, “Hitman Ball Game 1.5” which is made up of nine tracks, including “Hitman,” “Phone Call,” “1 Less,” and “Whitney.” He later released the album “Diddy Dum Dum” in 2016. In 2021, he released the album “Prove Em Wrong” which comprises 11 tracks including “So Crazy,” “Old Me,” and “It’s On.” One of Holla’s recent tracks includes 2023’s “Cold Summers.” He has a mixtape entitled “Ball Game.”

“Wild n’ Out,” “Games People Play,” and other Acting Gigs

In 2014, Holla joined the cast of the MTV2 reality game show, “Wild n’ Out” in its sixth season making him the second battle rapper to join the show after Conceited. Holla appeared in 10 seasons, briefly exited the show, and made a comeback in season 18. 2020 saw Holla appear in the Nick Cannon-directed sports comedy-drama “She Ball.” In 2021, Holla was cast as Romello ‘Rome,’ a new cocky Vipers point guard, who is expected to steer the squad to the championship in the BET sports drama series “Games People Play.” He appeared in three episodes of the show, which starred the likes of Karen Obilom, Jackie Long, and Sarunas J. Jackson.

Hitman is active on Instagram (@hitmanholla) with over two million followers. He joined X (formerly Twitter) in December 2009 – he goes by the username @HitmanHolla.

Personal Life

Holla began dating his longtime girlfriend, the American YouTuber, social media personality, model, and entrepreneur, Cinnamon in 2016. Cinnamon owns an online store called CINNY and also manages a cooking business, known as Cinny’s Food. The duo was fond of documenting their life together on their joint YouTube channel, Hitman Holla & Cinnamon. They launched the channel on 15 April 2013 and went on to post six videos, which earned around 3.4 million views; the channel has almost 180,000 subscribers. Their last video, “PRANKING MY BOYFRIEND (FAIL)…. IT BACKFIRED” was uploaded on 5 June 2020. Hitman and Cinnamon share a son named Geremiah Fulton. Hitman is very protective of his son, and in 2018 punched a man, as seen in a viral video, because he kept on bothering his son while he was high on drugs. Hitman and Cinnamon seem to have parted ways. Holla is unmarried with one child as of early 2024.

Holla’s Mother’s Health Problems

In 2014, Holla’s mom Sue was diagnosed with stage-two breast cancer – the diagnosis came one year after she was misdiagnosed. Sue’s tumor was removed shortly afterwards and she began undergoing chemotherapy. As she was undergoing treatment, she founded the non-profit charity organization, Passion for Pink to support and help the youths whose caregivers and parents are suffering from cancer, especially breast cancer. The organization caught the attention of the famed rapper, actor, TV producer and businessman, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, whose grandmother had recently succumbed to cancer. 50 Cent reached out to Holla and donated $10,000 to his mother’s organization. In an interview, Holla thanked 50 Cent for his help and stated ‘50 said after losing her, he wanted his rematch with cancer through my mother for his Nana. This means so much to me and my family because he doesn’t have to do anything at all…’ Numerous other celebrities, including Nick Cannon, also came to his aid. To show his support for his mom, in 2014 Holla shaved his hair.

Home Invasion Incidence

On 13 October 2021, Holla’s ex-girlfriend, Cinnamon, made headlines after she was involved in a home invasion incident, which left her nursing a gunshot wound. According to sources, Cinnamon was home alone, on FaceTime with Holla, who was out of town, when she was attacked by four robber, one of whom fired a shot that penetrated through her cheek and came out the back of her head. She luckily managed to save herself from the crime scene and was rushed to the hospital. Holla shared the horrific ordeal on his social media accounts, asking his fans and supporters to keep him and his girlfriend in their prayers. He also congratulated Cinnamon for her bravery and for defending their home. Cinnamon has recovered from the gunshot wound.

Holla is of Afro-American ethnicity and has a pair of dark brown eyes and black hair. He’s 5ft 10ins (1.78m) tallm weighs about 175lbs (79kgs), and has inked several tattoos on his arms.
