Who is Haskiri Velazquez?

American actress Haskiri Velazquez was born in Manhattan, New York City USA, on 10 September 1997, under the zodiac sign of Virgo. She’s appeared in 15 movies and TV series, and is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the lead character Daisy Jimenez in the popular comedy “Saved by the Bell”, created by Sam Bobrick and Tracey Wigfield, and which also starred Mitchell Hoog and Josie Totah. It follows several low-income teenagers who’ve been transferred to Bayside High, the series aired in 2020 and 2021 and won two of its 10 award nominations.

Haskiri was raised alongside her brothers FouReign Rich and Roderick MrRove in New York City, by their mother Marlene Latsunami Rodriguez, and father whose name remains undisclosed; not a lot about her family is known, because Haskiri respects their privacy.

She fell in love with acting at a very early age, but her parents weren’t able to afford acting lessons for her. Haskiri thus learned about free acting lessons at Urban Arts Partnership, which she took while attending High School of Fashion Industries.

Haskiri played Rosa in the 2020 comedy drama “The Forty-Year-Old Version”, which won 23 of its 67 award nominations, and the same year saw her play Sprint Trainee in the mystery crime drama “Lost Girls”, and Marley in the mystery science fiction horror “What Lies Below”.

In 2021, she played Ava, one of the main characters in the thriller “The Girl in the Window”, directed by Rachel Annette Helson, and which also starred Nicky Whelan and Cleo Anthony. It follows pregnant Ava who’s just run away from her abusive boyfriend, and has now been saved from a car accident by a strange couple.

Haskiri played Shyvon Stevens in the 2016 episode “Making a Rapist” of the mystery crime drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, and in 2019, she was Charlotte in the fantasy horror drama “The Birch”; it starred Xaria Dotson, Brady Romberg and Dempsey Bryk, and follows a teenager who’s seeking the help of a woods monster. The series was nominated for a Casting Society of America Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting – Short Form Series.

Haskiri’s appeared in only one other series, as Melissa Rodriguez in the 2020 episode “Reckless” of the mystery crime drama “Blue Bloods”, which Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess created, and which stars Will Estes, Bridget Moynahan and Donnie Wahlberg. Haskiri works out at the gym three to four times every week, mostly because her acting career requires her to stay in shape.
