Born on 20th November 1992, in Edinburgh, Scotland, Ella Loudon Craig is best known for being the daughter of ‘James Bond’ actor Daniel Craig. The beautiful blonde stands tall at 5ft 10ins (1.77m), and weighs 115lbs (52kgs) – her vital statistics are unreported.
Family
Ella’s mother, the actress Fiona Loudon, was born in Scotland and later moved to London to pursue her acting aspirations. In 1991, the relatively unknown thespian was catapulted into the limelight after her relationship with Daniel caught the media’s attention. Following a short-lived courtship, the couple became husband and wife in 1992 and welcomed Ella in the same year.
Sadly, they divorced in 1994 for unknown reasons, but are believed to remain on good terms to this day. Although Fiona didn’t remarry again, and preferred to raise Ella as a single mother, Daniel went on to lead a colorful love life and is as well-known for his relationships as for his portrayal of James Bond. From 1996 to 2004, the actor was in a committed relationship with the actress Heike Makatsch of “Love Actually” fame. Following their split, the A-lister was linked to Sienna Miller and the supermodel Kate Moss, before embarking on a three-year relationship with the producer Satsuki Mitchell.
Satsuki and Daniel called their engagement off and parted ways in 2010, but that didn’t stdissuade the actor from finding love again with the gorgeous Rachel Weisz. News outlets went wild when the relationship became public, with conflicting sources claiming that the pair met at university, or at the National Theatre studio. After dating for just under a year, Daniel and Rachel tied the knot in an intimate June 2011 ceremony, which was only attended by a handful of witnesses. Of the wedding, Daniel said in an interview: “We did it for private reasons. Because we didn’t want it f*cked up, because that would be sharing a secret. And the whole point is that it was a secret”. Since then, Daniel has kept true to his word, and shares very little about their relationship.
In fact, he and Rachel are known for being a low-key couple who rarely give interviews together, despite making joint appearances at red carpet events to support each other’s projects. Rachel has one son, Henry, born in 2006 from her relationship with the American director and screenwriter Darren Aronofsky.
Education & Theatre Career
Not much is known about Ella’s early education, although it’s believed that the performer, who discovered her passion for acting after starring in her school’s production of “Bugsy Malone” at the age of 11, studied at boarding school.
Daniel’s daughter, who has been candid about her struggles with dyslexia, shocked the world after dropping out of New York University a mere year after enrolling.
In a 2018 interview, the actress – whose parents urged her to focus on her studies instead of acting – came clean about the reason behind her decision, citing her years-long battle against depression as the cause. “You might have the most wonderful people around you, and who love you dearly, but you’re still blinded to that,” she explained. “I was completely blinded to that”, ansd it was during her darkest moments that Ella lost interest in acting due, to her delicate mental state. That changed in 2014 thanks to Kevin Coleman, the director of education at Shakespeare & Company, who encouraged her to participate in “The Master and Margarita”, a Riggs Theatre 37 production.
Ella came out of her shell, and agreed to take part in three plays which included “The King Lear Project” and “The Patsy”. Her brilliant performances led to her being spotted by Tina Packer, the co-founder and former artistic director of Shakespeare & Company. In January 2017, Tina invited Ella to an intensive training course offered by the company, which the actress subsequently branded “invaluable”, adding: “This is the only place I’ve had the best training and a clear understanding of what I’m doing. The people are amazing… It feels like everyone’s a teacher, and everyone’s a student”. During the program’s last day, Ella was approached by the actor Nigel Gore and given good news: she was being considered to play the role of Miranda in the Roman Garden Theatre’s depiction of “The Tempest” that same summer.
Following a successful audition, Ella was given the part, and fostered a close friendship with Nigel, who played Prospero. Despite having found her passion in theatre, fans of Ella fondly remember the actress’s roles in “Memory’s Paradigm”, “Cold Blood”, and “Texas Road” between 2007 and 2010. The A-lister’s daughter also has experience as a body double, thanks to her self-titled role in “Nara”.
Personal Life
Ella is currently living in Hudson, New York, with her pet dog Chica. The thespian spends much of her time travelling for work. But still moonlights as a bartender between roles, a habit she picked up at Shakespeare & Company before participating in its actors’ training program.

Despite her famous lineage, the blonde’s dream in life is to own her own home, find someone to love, and have children when the time’s right. To date, Ella has yet to be romantically linked to anyone, at least publicly. It appears that the beautiful actress is taking a leaf out of her father’s book, and fiercely defends her privacy; details such as prior relationships or her sexual orientation remain unknown to the general public.
