Amaury Nolasco is a famed ALMA Award-nominated Puerto Rican producer and actor, who gained recognition for his portrayal of Fernando Sucre in the acclaimed Fox series “Prison Break”, and will portray Benny in the upcoming movie “The Valet.”

Age, Early Life, and Educational Background

Amaury Nolasco Garrido was born under the Capricorn zodiac sign on 24 December 1970, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, so is 51 years old as of mid-2022. His parents, Camelia and Angel Garrido, are of Dominican descent, and they raised him alongside his brother and sister Deborah Garrido – the latter sadly passed away in 2010 aged 33 after suffering a heart attack.

Amaury is an avid golf player who began playing when he was shooting a movie in New Orleans in the late 2000s, and he eventually fell in love with the sport.

Nolasco has guest-starred in several TV shows, such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Arli$$” and “ER.” He made his feature film debut in the Takeshi Kitano-directed crime-drama “Brother” (2000), and subsequently featured in “2 Fast 2 Furious” (2003) and “Mr. 3000” alongside Bennie Mac in 2004.

2005 saw Amaury making his career breakthrough with his recurring role of Fernando in the drama “Prison Break”, and was nominated for various ALMA Awards for his role. Nolasco also appeared in “The Benchwarmers”, before he landed a guest starring role in “Mind of Mencia” in 2007. Nolasco met and started dating the American actress, producer, director, and former child model Jennifer Morrison in 2009, but they parted ways after dating for three years.

Nolasco is currently single and doesn’t have any children, but is the godfather of the American producer and actress Eva Longoria Baston’s first-born son, Santiago Enrique Baston; Eva is famous for her role of Isabella Brana in the CBS TV show “The Young and the Restless.” Amaury enjoys spending time with her son, and likes taking him for walks and golfing. However, Nolasco’s reps quickly confirmed that he wasn’t dead, terming the rumor as distressing, hurtful, and reckless.
