Who is Miia Harris?
American actress and social media personality Miia Harris was born under the zodiac sign Pisces on 8 March 2003, in Los Angeles, California USA. She has just four acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying the lead character Clawdeen Wolf in the 2023 action fantasy adventure film “Monster High 2”, written and directed by Todd Holland, and which also starred Ceci Balagot and Nayah Damasen. It follows three friends who’ve just started their sophomore year at Monster High.
Early life and education
Miia and her sister Maison Harris were raised by their father Leaton Harris, and mother whose name remains undisclosed in Los Angeles; it’s believed that Miia’s mother’s a talent agent and her father a businessman but this is yet to be confirmed by Miia. It’s also known that her grandmother’s Finnish, and is today living in Finland.
Miia became interested in acting while attending a local elementary school in Los Angeles and was nine when she appeared in her first school play. Her interest in acting only deepened upon enrolling at high school as she joined its drama club and began appearing in various plays performed at the school; this led to Miia’s parents enrolling her at acting school.

Acting career
Miia’s TV series debut was playing Aspen in the 2021 episode “Unfiltered” of the fantasy comedy “Just Beyond”, created by Seth Grahame-Smith, and which also starred Mckenna Grace, Cyrus Arnold and Izabela Vidovic. It’s an anthology series based on R. L. Stine’s graphic novels, and it was nominated for a 2022 Writers Guild of America Award for Children’s Episodic, Long Form and Specials.
The year 2022 saw Miia play the main character Clawdeen Wolf in the action adventure fantasy film “Monster High: The Movie”, directed by Todd Holland, and which also starred Ceci Balagot and Nayah Damasen. It follows a half-human half-werewolf girl as she’s hiding her identity at a high school for monsters, and the film won two of the 15 awards for which it was nominated.

Miia’s only other acting credit has been playing Ilana Winter in the 2022 episode “The App Comes Back” of the family comedy “That Girl Lay Lay”, which stars Esther Mbire, Gabrielle Nevaeh and Alaya High, and was created by David A. Arnold in 2021. It follows Sadie who’s wished for her imaginary friend Lay Lay to come to life, and the series has been nominated for 12 awards.
Other credits
Miia sang various songs in the 2022 movie “Monster High: The Movie”, including “True Monster Heart”, “Coming Out of the Dark” and “No Apologies”.
She also sang several songs in the 2023 movie “Monster High 2”, such as “Monsters Are”, “Not How Our Story Goes” and “My Heart Goes Boom Boom Boom”.

Miia doesn’t shy away from speaking about her love life in public and we know that she’s today in a long-term relationship with American actor Michael Zap.
It remains unknown how and when the two met but it’s widely believed that they met at an audition in 2019. Michael has eight acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying Mikey in 10 episodes of the 2022 comedy series “Dismissed”, which starred Alona Sa’ar, Noa Astanjelove and Carmel Bin, and was created by Atara Frish and Nir Berger. It follows the life of a female police officer and the series won 19 of its 34 award nominations.
Some believe that Miia and Michael have recently become engaged but this is yet to be addressed by them.
There are no other boys whom Miia’s perhaps dated, that we know about; she’s in a relationship with Michael Zap as of December 2023, doesn’t have children and hasn’t married.
