Who was Carl Judie?

The late American actor and social media personality Carl Judie, was born under the zodiac sign Cancer on 11 July 1958, in the USA. He spent most of his career in the US military, and after being honorably discharged ventured into acting. Carl had only two acting credits, and is perhaps remembered best for playing various characters in 52 episodes (2019-2021) of the popular short comedy series “Dhar Mann”, which starred Shaunte Massard, Katherine Norland and Dhar Mann, and aired from 2018 through 2023. Each episode depicts problems of modern society, and the series won a 2021 YouTube Diamond Creator Award.

Carl died from coronavirus complications on 14 February 2021.

Early life and education

Carl was raised by his mother Dessia Lee and father Rosco Judie in the USA; he rarely spoke about his parents because he respected their privacy but it’s known that they were deeply religious Christians who often went to church together. Carl never talked about having siblings, so it’s believed that he was an only child.

He was mostly into playing sports while attending a local elementary school; Carl excelled in playing football and basketball, although he also enjoyed playing baseball. He enrolled at high school in 1972 and continued playing football there, leading his team to many victories.

Carl matriculated in 1976 and although he didn’t talk about his further education, his fans believe that he attended college, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1980.

Carl’s career

Carl joined the US Army in 1980, and served for the following 20 years.

It remains unknown what he did for a living in the 2000s, but it’s known that he ventured into theatre acting in the first half of the 2010s.

His only other big screen acting credit was playing Grandpa in the 2020 short film “A True Menstrual Show”, written and directed by Joshua Daniel, and which starred Tyrone Barnes and Jesse Beamon; it follows a man talking about menstruation.

Carl never had his own YouTube channel, but he’s still somewhat popular on the video sharing service thanks to other users uploading videos of him; most are about the series “Dhar Mann” and we’ll be covering Carl’s three most viewed videos as these are keeping the memory of him alive.

The #1 video “Dhar Mann’s 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Special” has been watched over 16 million times since it was posted by Dhar Mann Studios on 24 November 2021; it features scenes from the series, as well as interviews with its cast.

His second most popular video “Barber Gives Free Haircuts to Homeless” was posted by Dhar Mann Studios on 26 November 2021 and has since been viewed over 14 million times; it’s a scene from the series “Dhar Mann”, which features Carl as a barber, giving a homeless man a free haircut.

The #3 video “Special Tribute to Carl Judie” has been watched over 11 million times since it was posted by Dhar Mann Studios on 21 February 2021, and is a compilation of scenes from the series “Dhar Mann”, all of which feature Carl.

Carl was active on multiple social media networks, and some of these are still open today.

Close to 70,000 people are following his Instagram page, onto which he’d posted only 11 pictures; most of these feature Carl shooting for “Dhar Mann”, spending time with friends and attending various events.

He was also active on Twitter; Carl created his account in February 2009 and went on to tweet 180 times, while it’s today followed by 175 people. Most of his tweets were simply his thoughts on various matters, including the progress of technology, religion and politics.

Carl also had a Facebook profile; it’s still today followed by close to 1,200 people and numbers 126 friends. Carl’s final post was on 5 August 2014, as he then chose to focus on maintaining his other social media accounts.

Love life and wife

Carl always preferred to keep his love life away from media as he respected his wife’s privacy, and thus not many details about it are known.

He was married to non-celebrity American woman Sharon Judie; she occasionally kept Carl company during his red carpet events, but preferred to stay at home with their daughter Brianna Walker. Carl and Sharon both wanted to keep Brianna away from the media’s attention so that she could lead a normal life, and Carl thus didn’t feature her in any of his internet content.

There are no other women whom Carl had perhaps been with, that we know about; he was married to Sharon Judie at the time of his passing, and they had a daughter together.

Carl was a philanthropist and he and his wife often donated money to charity, mostly into helping underprivileged black children and war veterans.
