Who is Andrea Arru?
Italian actor, model and social media personality Andrea Arru was born under the zodiac sign Leo on 18 August 2007 in Ploaghe, Sardinia, Italy. He has only nine acting credits, and is perhaps known best for playing a supporting character in the 2020 action crime thriller film “Calibro 9”, directed by Toni D’Angelo, and which starred Marco Bocci, Barbara Bouchet and Alessio Boni. It follows the disappearance of 100 million euros and the hunting for those believed to be responsible; the film was nominated for a 2021 Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists Silver Ribbon for Best Supporting Actor (Michele Placido).

Andrea was raised in Ploaghe alongside his older brother Giacomo, by their mother Daniela Usai and father Roberto Arru; Andrea respects his family’s privacy and avoids speaking about them in public, while it’s known that his grandfather’s originally from Palermo.
He launched his modelling career as a child, posing for a number of famous brands, including Armani and Ferre; this led to Andrea being cast to appear in his first film aged 11: the 2018 horror “Vien di Notte”. It was written and directed by Mirko Zaru, starred Manuela Serra, Luca Solinas and Christian Loddo, and follows a British reporter and his photographer as they’re investigating several mysterious cases involving paranormal entities.
Andrea’s currently attending a local high school in Italy, and has become passionate about a number of activities there, as he enjoys playing soccer and taking guitar lessons; he’s set to matriculate in 2025, and some of his fans believe that he’ll then enroll at college.
Roles in movies
In 2020, Andrea portrayed the lead character in the short romantic drama “Lo Scarabocchio”, written and directed by Mirko Zaru, and which also starred Sara Putzolu and Fabio Cau; it follows a young boy who’s just enrolled at high school and has fallen in love with a girl sitting in front of him.
Also in 2020, Andrea played the lead character The Bad Presence in the short horror “Resurrection – The Last Chapter”, written and directed by Alfredo Moreno; it follows Carla who spent 13 years at an orphanage and has now moved into her big family house only to make a chilling discovery about her missing family.

Andrea went on to star as Pino in the 2020 drama “Glassboy”, written and directed by Samuele Rossi, and which also starred Loretta Goggi and Rosa Barbolini. It follows the life of Pino Gambassi who’s suffering from haemophilia, and the movie won one of its five award nominations.
The year 2021 saw Andrea play a supporting character in the drama “Storia di Una Famiglia Perbene”, which starred Giuseppe Zeno, Carmine Buschini and Graziana Marchionna, and follows Maria and Michele who come from two rival families but have nevertheless fallen in love.
Andrea’s only other film role has been playing 12 Years Old Diabolik in the 2023 action crime mystery “Diabolik: Who Are You?”, written and directed by Antonio Manetti, and which starred Giacomo Gianniotti, Valerio Mastandrea and Miriam Leone. It follows Ginko and Diabolik who’ve been captured by a criminal gang and have been locked in the same cell.
Roles in TV series
Andrea’s appeared in two TV series. His debut was portraying Young McCoy in the 2022 episode “Chapter Eight: The Great Duel” of the western “That Dirty Black Bag”, which starred Niv Sultan, Dominic Cooper and Douglas Booth, and follows two men as they’re facing off in a savage and deserted world.
In 2022 and 2023, Andrea played the lead character Pietro in all 22 episodes of the family comedy “DI4RIES”, which also starred Biagio Venditti and Flavia Leone, and follows a group of teenagers attending Galileo Galilei high school.

Love life and relationships
Andrea rarely speaks about his love life in public but it’s known that he was once in a relationship with Italian actress Flavia Leone, whom he met on the set of the series “Di4ries”.
Flavia has two acting credits, having appeared in only the series “Di4ries” and the short movie “Niente”; it was her relationship with Andrea that made her somewhat popular on the internet as over 320,000 people are following her on Instagram today. Flavia’s shared 56 pictures and videos on Instagram, with most featuring her travelling and showing off her pretty face.
Andrea and Flavia could’ve been seen attending various events together, while they also featured each other in many of the pictures posted onto their social media accounts; it’s widely believed that they were together for around a year prior to breaking up.
